Archives as folders: zip, tar.gz/bz2/xz/zst, 7z, rar, iso, cab, xar, deb, rpm, gz… Enter opens them; F5/F6/F7/F8 copy in and out, make folders and delete inside (zip, tar.*, 7z); others are read-only.

Network connections in the panels: SFTP (with ~/.ssh/config), FTP, FTPS, WebDAV, SMB, AFP and NFS. Saved connections live in ~/.pejava/connections.json; hosts from ~/.ssh/config, FileZilla, ~/.netrc and the local network are offered too. F5/F6/F7/F8 work on the server; F4 edits a file in the code editor (each save uploads it), Shift+F4 makes a new one.

"Visual" panel mode: scans the folder and shows what takes space as a shaded treemap.

System monitor over the whole window: CPU graph and cores, memory, network, processes (sort, filter, terminate).

Built-in color palettes: classic blue, dark and light.

A plugin with no code: it only contributes a color palette (the built-in Solarized palettes are fuller).
